This can truly be considered an extraordinary coffee.
Every bag represents a challenge overcome in the face of war.
Amid conflict, displacement, drought, and instability, local farmers have produced an exceptional specialty coffee.
On the shores of Lake Kivu, farmers continued their work despite the armed occupation by the Rwanda-backed M23 rebels, whose offensive since January 2025 has displaced more than 1.7 million people and profoundly disrupted the lives of entire communities.
Despite everything, the farmers never stopped caring for every coffee cherry, meticulously selecting each lot to ensure the level of quality that defines our relationship with them.
This coffee offers a beautifully balanced cup, with delicate notes of citrus, raspberry, and jasmine.
When you taste this coffee, you experience the altitude, the terroir, and the processing method—but above all, the resilience and dedication of the farmers who refuse to let their craft disappear.
